Snorkel the Blue Lagoon & See Starfish

Take a short boat ride into the calm, warm waters of the Blue Lagoon. Put on your snorkeling gear and swim over healthy coral reefs filled with colorful tropical fish. Your guide will also help you find and gently hold Zanzibar’s famous large red knobby starfish for amazing photos.

Relax on the White Sandbank

When the ocean tide goes down, a beautiful natural white sandbank appears. We will stop here so you can walk on the soft sand, swim in the shallow pool-like water, and enjoy fresh tropical fruits served right on the beach by your guide.

Visit The Iconic Rock Restaurant

No trip to the southeast coast is complete without seeing The Rock Restaurant. Built on a small coral rock right in the middle of the Indian Ocean, it is one of the most photographed places in Africa. We will take you close to the restaurant for perfect pictures. (Note: If you wish to go inside to eat or drink, advance table reservations are highly recommended. Food and drinks are at your own expense.)

Other Areas: Transfer options are available for hotels across all other regions of Zanzibar (Stone Town, Nungwi, Kendwa, Matemwe, etc.).

Refund & Cancellation Policy

If you paid in full, you may cancel up to 24 hours before your scheduled pickup time to receive a full refund minus the non-refundable 5% DPO payment processing fee.
Please note: 20% booking deposits are strictly non-refundable.

Itinerary

Hotel Pickup & Boat Departure

Your private driver will pick you up directly from your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle and drive you to Dongwe Beach. Here, you will meet your local captain, step onto your private boat, and set off into the clear turquoise waters.

Blue Lagoon Coral Reef Snorkeling

Arrive at the famous Blue Lagoon for your guided snorkeling session. Put on your mask and fins to explore the underwater coral reef, swimming among colorful tropical fish in warm, shallow ocean water.

White Sandbank & Fresh Fruit Snacks

Head to a natural white sandbank that appears at low tide. Take a relaxing swim in the calm, natural pool-like water, walk on the soft sand, and enjoy fresh tropical fruit slices served right by your boat crew.

Visit the shallow starfish point where you can spot large, colorful red starfish on the sandy seabed. Your guide will help you observe and gently photograph these unique sea creatures up close.

Photo Stop at The Rock Restaurant

Cruise over to Michamvi Pingwe to view the world-famous Rock Restaurant perched on a coral outcrop in the ocean. Your captain will position the boat for ideal photos of this iconic landmark.

Return Boat Ride & Hotel Transfer

After your coastal adventure, your boat will return to Dongwe Beach, where your private driver will be waiting to drop you safely back at your hotel.
